Cullion will not be lining out for todays game againts Raharney. Cullion Hurling Club has been notified of a positive COVID-19 test result from one of its senior players. At this time our priority is the health and safety of our members as well as the wider community. Having consulted with the HSE we have taken the decision to suspend all senior hurling activity for at least 48 hours or until all contact tracing has been completed. This time will allow the relevant authorities to undertake contact tracing and testing as necessary. This process is currently underway and will continue in the coming days. The 48 hour period will also allow the club receive the appropriate guidance from the HSE and for the club to assist the HSE in any way we can. 

At this time juvenile club activity may proceed undertaking the normal COVID-19 protocols put in place by our club to keep all involved safe.

We would continue to ask all in our community to maintain heightened awareness and follow all guidance from public health. 

Our thoughts are with the individual player and their family at this time and we wish everyone concerned a speedy recovery and safe return to hurling when appropriate.
