COVID 19 - Planning for a Safe Return to Gaelic Games   21/06/2020

Cullion Hurling & Camogie Club is implementing the GAA’s Guidelines on Safe Return to Gaelic Games in preparation to re-open for training from 29th June 2020.

A copy of the guidelines can be downloaded at https://www.gaa.ie/news/covid-19-update-safe-return-to-gaelic-games/ All players (Parents/Guardians of underage players) and team personnel should familiarise themselves with the Guidelines. The welfare and safety of our players and volunteers is paramount and while we are very eager to get back training and playing again, we want to ensure that we do so in a safe manner.

Between now and 29th June, the club facilities will be prepared in accordance with the guidelines and all players (and Parents/Guardians of underage players) and team personnel will be informed of the protocols that will be put in place to ensure a safe return to training.

Prior to returning to training, each player (Parent/Guardian of underage players) and team personnel is required to complete the GAA Covid-19 Club Education eLearning module which can be found at https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/. Participants will be able to gain a certificate of completion which they must present to their team Covid Supervisor in the Club as per the return to activity Guidelines.

To facilitate contact tracing should it be required, only players that are registered with the Club will be permitted to return to training.
